Full Elden Ring Map Exploration: A Look at All Fragment Locations
Elden Ring's world is also known as the Lands Between; it can feel big and confusing as you begin. When you start your game, the map is foggy, and it does not show any roads, landmarks, or secrets.
But in your journey, as you start collecting the map fragments, the fog starts to disappear, and a detailed map unfolds. This makes exploring much easier and guides you to play your journey safely. It is a very helpful tool to avoid being lost in this huge and magical land.
Finding Map Fragments in the Lands Between

There are a total of 19 map fragments that are hidden across both the surface regions and the underground areas. Above the ground, you often find them near glowing stone slabs, which are called stele or beacons.
These shiny, glowy things make them easier to spot along the roads, and when you pick them up, they reveal everything you need to know in that region.

In places like Limgrave, Liurnia, Caelid, Altus, Plateau, Mountaintops of the Giants, and Leyndell, the fragments are usually placed beside the steles. You will often follow main roads or travel from a Site of Grace to find them. Once collected, the local map will guide you through everything.
